Adeola Adeyemi, widely known as Diadem and a prominent beauty entrepreneur in Nigeria, has emotionally refuted baseless claims circulating on social media that she is romantically involved with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The unfounded rumor, initially spread by a blogger, alleged an intimate relationship between Diadem and the governor, suggesting he was building a house for her. In response, Adeola promptly addressed the speculations in a video, tearfully denying any connection with the politician and emphasizing that she has never even met Governor Sanwo-Olu.
Expressing her distress over the false accusations, Diadem questioned the motives behind such rumors and stressed her commitment to minding her own business. In a poignant moment, she invoked curses upon the blogger for spreading damaging falsehoods, fervently praying for unrest upon them.
Deeply hurt by the allegations, Adeola highlighted that the government has not supported her beauty brand, and detractors are attempting to attribute her success to the governor.
Tearfully breaking down, she revealed that she has been managing her business independently with her child and pleaded with people to leave her alone.
