Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has broken his silence following the death of his close associate and mentor, actress Allwell Ademola, describing the loss as deeply painful and overwhelming.
Allwell Ademola reportedly died of a heart attack on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Her sudden passing sparked an outpouring of concern from fans and colleagues, many of whom took to social media to check on Salami’s well-being.
In a heartfelt post shared on his Instagram page, Salami urged the public not to console him if they come across him, saying he is still struggling to process the loss. “Please, when you see me, don’t try to console me because I will break down. I still can’t say farewell, Shuga Boo. All is not well at the moment,” he wrote.
The actor revealed that days of tears have done little to ease his pain but said he is trying to remain strong for the sake of family, friends, fans, and his children. He acknowledged the prayers, calls and messages of support he has received but admitted he is currently too weak to respond or fully express how he feels.
Salami thanked those who have reached out with love and concern, noting that while he appreciates the support, the emotional weight of Allwell Ademola’s death remains heavy as he learns to cope with life without her.
